What Does Fitness Mean to Me?

Welcome to BLARUEFIT! I wanted to take a second to introduce myself and give you a little insight into my thoughts about living a healthy lifestyle. According to the dictionary the definition of fitness is “the condition of being physically fit and healthy”. Although that is a great definition of what fitness is, it means so much more to me. Fitness has been a passion of mine my entire life. Growing up as a competitive dancer it has always been important that my body is  physically fit so it can withstand the demands of my sport. However, since high school fitness has taken on a whole other meaning to me. Fitness is no longer just a passion of mine it has now evolved into a career. Fitness on a personal level, is what allows me to grow and consistently learn. It gives me a time each day to step away from life and do something that is solely for me. Fitness keeps my body and my mind strong, it is an area that you can always improve in and allows you to consistently be setting new goals to strive for. Taking fitness from a personal level to a career allows me to share with others the opportunity to grow and improve in all aspects of life. Being able to experience the changes people are capable of making when learning about fitness and a healthy lifestyle is the biggest reward in itself. Through fitness I have not only found the things that drive me in my personal life but it also allows me to fulfill my dream of helping others become the healthiest and happiest that they can be.
